Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy: Michael, Amar, Mayuran and Marcus have the knowledge and expertise to help patients manage and recover from conditions such as back pain, neck pain, and arthritis, as well as helping athletes prevent and recover from injuries, improve performance and prevent future injuries. They use a combination of manual therapy, exercise, and education to help our patients achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life.


Clinical Pilates and Gym Strengthening:
All the physiotherapists work closely with our patients to create personalized workout plans that help them achieve their goals. The facility caters for the elite athlete or the general population wanting to improve their physical fitness or rehabilitation.


Women’s and Men’s Health:
Anosha and Gaaya are experienced to help patients manage and recover from conditions such as incontinence, pelvic pain, DRAM and pregnancy-related conditions. They also provide clinical Pilates classes for pre and post-natal.


Hydrotherapy and Home care Physiotherapy:
Tanya, uses water-based exercises to help patients recover from injuries and illnesses and provides physiotherapy treatment at patient’s home in case of mobility issues or other reasons.


Myotherapy and Remedial Massage:
Xavier and Tony are experienced therapists that use manual therapy such as soft tissue manipulation, cupping, dry needling, and exercises to treat and prevent musculoskeletal pain and injuries. Overall, Myotherapy is a holistic approach to musculoskeletal pain, injuries, and dysfunction that can help to improve the overall quality of life.

At our medical centre, we have Melbourne Pathology on site for patient’s convenience at Plaza (Keilor Downs).

Skin Cancer Awareness and Screening

Protect Your Health with Regular Skin Checks

Skin cancer can be very serious and may put your life at risk. The good news is that if caught early, it can be treated effectively. That’s why regular skin checks and screenings are highly recommended by the doctors at Errol Street Medical Centre.

What to Expect During a Skin Check

Full Body Skin Check:
This is the most thorough way to assess your skin’s health. For your comfort and privacy, you can keep your underwear on while our doctors examine your skin from head to toe. We will look for any spots or moles that may need monitoring or treatment. It’s important that you mention any areas or spots you’re concerned about so your doctor can give them special attention.

Spot or Mole Check:
If you’re short on time or have privacy concerns, you can opt for a more focused check of specific areas or individual spots. While this is less comprehensive than a full body check, it still allows us to assess any particular concerns you have.

 

Important Notes

  • Skin on the breast, genital, and buttock areas is not routinely examined during standard checks. However, skin cancers can develop in these regions, so any suspicious lesions there should be brought to your doctor’s attention.
  • To ensure the most accurate examination, it is preferred that you do not wear makeup (especially foundation) or nail polish during your appointment.
