Dr Aleena Waheed
MBBS (Hons), FRACGP
Dr Aleena graduated with Honours in 2007 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Health Services in Pakistan. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr Aleena brings extensive experience from her work across hospital settings, having trained in internal medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, cardiology, nephrology and intensive care. Since transitioning to General Practice in 2015, she has appreciated the opportunity to build long-term relationship with her patients and enjoys the balance it brings to her professional and personal life.
She has completed further training in Mental Health Skills and Women’s Health, enabling her to manage patients under comprehensive care plans tailored to their unique needs. Her clinical interests include internal medicine, diabetes management, cardiology, mental health and women’s health.
Outside of work, Dr Aleena enjoys studying, cooking and spending quiet time reading a good book.
